The poison flowed out in a dense cloud that swept through most of the entire area.
The Nightmare frowned as it expected a similar scene to what happened previously to occur. However, the poison cloud gradually faded as if nothing happened.
'I should probably be on guard for tha-' The Nightmare's thoughts were interrupted when it felt a presence behind it. However, it wasn't bothered.
Instead, it let the attack land. And sure enough, Gideon's daggers failed to pierce its skin.
With a disdainful snort, the Nightmare pulled back it's arm before thrusting it backwards.
The sound of flesh being stabbed through was clear as the Nightmare felt it's arm pass through Gideon's torso and felt his blood drip down. And then... it didn't.
Its eyes widened when the sensation suddenly disappeared and was overtaken by a sharp numbness in its arm.
