Nathan's eyes snapped before narrowing immediately after due to the agitation of the bright light.
He kept them narrowed until his vision fully adapted to the light, and when it did, he found himself in a red world.
Blood red sand that constantly moved as tremors endlessly ran through the ground, red tornadoes that tore across the landscape, massive red hurricanes that constantly flashed with red lightning.
In the distance, mile high waves of red water, or blood, Nathan wasn't sure which, smashed into the beach relentlessly.
"What, is this place?" He muttered and got up. Then he immediately realized something. His mind was clear.
There were no destructive urges or bloodlusted desires, he could think perfectly like he always did. This would have made him happy under normal circumstances, but the situation he was in right now didn't really let him celebrate.
