The infirmary looked off, was it the protection shield? No, I have a feeling it's not.
I laid down my sister on the nearest bed, "When the queen comes back, I'll tell them about your situation." Ariel commented as she got out med kits from the nearest cupboard.
She sat down on the chair beside the bed, "I'm not as good as Nicole, but I'll give it a try since it's just a few scratches nothing more.."Ariel nervously said as she scratched her neck awkwardly.
This was the first time I noticed Ariel not referring to Nicole as 'queen', I was anxious about her treating my sister since she acted like a clutz from the few minutes I've known her.
But I gave her a pass as I felt a little bit of sympathy from how vulnerable she looked at that moment.
"Ok.."I replied sitting next to her, "But I'm helping."I bluntly followed.
"Oh Ok!"Ariel responded as she took out cotton and a set of antibacterial ointments.
I noticed that she was missing something, I leaned in close to her pulling out the bandages out of the med kit.
When I looked back at her face, she seemed to react weirdly or that she just noticed we were 1 inch distance from each other.
A pack of red blush shimmered to her face, before she could do anything else I handed her the bandages.
"Here." I responded bluntly.
Ariel looked at me confused, "OH. Oh. oh. Right, the bandages.."Ariel said in realization.
She quickly took the bandages off my hand, which I didn't mind.
Ariel continued to do her awkward movements. I may not have much knowledge in medicine but I'm sure that's not how you do it.
I sighed before leaning towards her and holding her hands to control her movements.
"It's like this.."I muttered in her ear, but it seems like the more I try to help, the stiffer her movements get, this continued on till we were done with the bandages.
Once we were done her face was full of blush, with this time i could examine her appearance even more.
She had short blonde hair, intelligent green eyes, and her honey-like smile.
What I didn't expect was for her to notice me. She immediately turned away from me once she caught on to my staring.
I chuckled at her reaction. I didn't have any romantic feelings towards Ariel, but she was an interesting and curious person.
We stayed in the awkward atmosphere for a few more minutes till i left.
Fresh air.
It's been a while since I smelt some, you don't get to smell much fresh air when your too busy getting chased by harpies and hellhounds.
