Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The Rise and Fall of the Old Assassin King

****

Benjamin Siegel was the most powerful assassin that ever lived on earth. He was born in London and lives as an ordinary orphan. When he was 10 years old, his guardian illegally sold him and some of his orphan friends to a group of mysterious people, because the orphanage could not support itself due to the accumulation of debts. He later learned that this mysterious group came from an assassin organization called The Black Hand. This organization likes to buy and kidnap children, to replenish its rank due to the number of assassins who die during missions.

There he learns to survive as an assassin and becomes the patriarch of this organization. He could have destroyed the Black Hand and taken revenge on them for everything that happened to him, but he did not. Since birth, all he does is survive. He was born into a poor family. His father was a low-level gangster who died in a big gang fight and his mother was a drug addict who died of an overdose. Because of the environment he was born into, he learned early on how to take care of himself and protect himself. By the age of five, he would have been on the streets if he hadn't been accepted into this orphanage. Due to the food shortage in the orphanage, he had to fight, beg, and steal sometimes if he didn't want to starve to death. So, by the time he got to this organization, he quickly adapted to this kind of environment. He didn't have much resentment towards the organization. The organization gave him strength and allowed him to become familiar with the proverb "the strong rule the weak." In order to become stronger and climb the ranks of the Black Hand organization, he killed, stole, spied on, and betrayed everyone who got in his way. In the criminal underworld, he was known and feared by all as "The Mad Demon Wolf" due to the amount of carnage he saw during his mission. He had a 90% success rate for all his missions. To him, strength means everything, he even went as far as to participate in an illegal experiment that merged an animal gene with a human gene. When scientists and doctors asked him to choose what type of animal gene he wanted to merge with, he chose the Mackenzie Valley Wolf. It is the largest wolf in the world. Ever since he was young, he has always loved werewolves, whether it be in novels, movies, comics, or anime. Werewolves were his thing and he had always wanted to become one. He likes the ideology of being in a pack and having superpowers. Anyway, after merging with the Mackenzie Valley Wolf gene, while it didn't turn him into a werewolf or a Lycan like in those novels, anime, or movies he used to read, it did allow him to increase his overall strength and 6 senses. After that experiment was successful, he went on a killing spree. He killed everyone in that building and destroyed the entire building and destroyed all evidence related to that experiment. That's where he found four children who were experimented on like him. He finds out that they were the first experimental subject before him. That's why the powers he received were more refined and powerful. Since he didn't want the world to create more monsters like them, he did everything he could to erase their tracks. With their newfound power, he was able to climb the ranks of the organization at a faster speed and by the age of 45, he was already the leader of this organization. It was also at this time that he trained them to become skilled right-hand men.

When he became the leader of this organization, he became even more greedy. He always envied those powerful families that controlled the world, whether it was by having a lot of money or political influence. Since he was feared by everyone in the criminal world, he did the right thing. With his pack, he gathered most of the world's crime families and controlled them from the shadows. By the age of 100, he had already ruled a large portion of planet Earth for over 50 years. Because they were mutants due to their participation in these genetic experiments, they aged slower than normal humans and were able to retain their power at that age.

Despite being in power for all these years, he never stopped wanting the opportunity to break through his genes and evolve into a super mutant, but he never could. With all his influential power and money, he tried to replicate the previous experiment that changed his gene, hiring the best doctors and scientists in the world that money could buy, but it didn't work. In Benjamin Siegel final moments, the cold grip of death took him. But rather than fade into oblivion, his soul was pulled into a vast, unknown expanse—an endless void between worlds.
