It wasn’t like I was going to give up regardless of what he says. Returning home wasn’t an option for me anymore. I don’t even know what the family is up to now that they’ve found out that I’m gone. Even if I wanted to return, I probably don’t have a place to return to anymore.
“How stupid can you get? You run after a man that you barely know anything about even when he clearly told you to stay away from him…” Reiner growled.
“Then show me, R…show me who you really are. I want to know everything about you,” I said determinedly.
“Don’t blame me if it breaks your heart and body,” Reiner replied softly.
I heard myself let out a cry of shock and the next thing I knew, I had fallen face first onto the luxurious burgundy carpet on the floor. My hands reached out to break my fall as I landed on my stomach. My hands and knees hurt despite the softness of the carpet cushioning my fall.
“R!” I cried out his name as I felt his presence behind and on top of me.
