I looked out of the window confused. We were nowhere near the city, and this was definitely not Lucien’s mansion. Peering outside, I could see a small village with cute looking orange and red-colored huts and a small river running through the small town. From here, the scenery looks so beautiful and just like a painting.
“Where are we?” I asked as Reiner parked the car and removed his seatbelt.
“A small town…on our way back,” Reiner replied briefly before he got out of the car.
Well, guess I have to get out too. I removed my seatbelt just in time as the car door swung open. Reiner had opened the door to escort me out of the car. He took my hand gently and supported me as I got out of the car. This man is too perfect at executing his job.
“Why are we here?” I asked as we strolled along the path on the riverbank.
“No reason…” Reiner replied as he smiled at me.
