Synopsis
When the God of Contradiction was born his body housed two souls, souls of complete opposites. This Contradiction truly made him live up to his title, but because his souls, Soleil and Ayla, were subconsciously rejecting each other, his body started to break down. In order to keep his younger brother alive, the God of Compassion—Sunniva, created a demi-soul, Orion, to reside within his brother’s body. With the addition of Orion, Soleil and Ayla were able to live in harmony like they were always supposed to be and they stayed in peace for countless millennia. That is, until the God of Conquest—Alexander, rebelled and Orion vanished unknowingly. Without Orion, Soleil and Ayla were once again subconsciously rejecting each other, no matter how much they truly cared for each other. Sunniva couldn't stand watching his brother’s body destroy itself from the inside out and he once again intervened. Now Soleil and Ayla have to spend multiple lifetimes as mortals, so their souls can be in a semi-stable condition, while Sunniva starts searching for a cure, with what little power he has left. - Arc 1: Among the Stars (ongoing) Arc 2: …

Chapter 1: Generals

In a beautiful tea room, four generals could be seen. The general with bluish-silver hair and red eyes, General Toma Kate, was trying to figure out how to explain his son's abnormality to the others.

He had kept information about his son hidden until now, but he could no longer continuing hiding him away. His son was already six years old and the other generals were desperate to meet him.

"Just spit it out, Toma. Why on earth are you hiding the boy?" General Davius Knox, spoke. He had red hair and green eyes.

Seeing Toma still hesitant to speak, General Lyric Memphis spoke, "I'm sure whatever you are fussing over isn't that bad." Lyric had purple hair and orange eyes.

"Are you ashamed of him?" the last general spoke. His name was Warren Leo and was the most silent and straight forward of them all. His steel gray eyes and black hair making him look dangerous as ever.

"Heavens no!" Toma shouted. "He's my pride and joy! I love him just as much as you love your sons!"

"Then what's the problem?" Warren asked, obviously a little irritated.

"He is a genius and possesses a physical strength of 3S and a mental strength of 3S…" Toma sighed.

"But…" Lyric spoke.

"But he suffers from a mental disorder," Toma finished, biting his lips.

"Mental disorder?" Warren, Lyric, and Davius spoke at the same time.

"He's always had it ever since he was a tiny baby and we can't figure out the cause, but he's a happy child from what I can tell," Toma clarified.

"What's he suffering from?" Davius asked.

"DID, dissociative identity disorder," Toma answered.

"So he like has two personalities?" Lyric asked.

"Alters, but yes," Toma answered. "His two names are East and West and his two alters are actually complete opposites, but from what I know they can communicate with each other through their thoughts and dreams.

Though from what I know they can hide their thoughts from each other if they really want to. Another thing is just because one of them learns something doesn't mean the other can automatically do whatever they learned too. Though it would be easier because their body had already been trained for the specific task.

An example would be the fact that even though West is a genius in swordsmanship, piano, violin, and all things music, East has absolutely no talent for music nor swordsmanship. And while East is an amazing artist, whether he be painting or just drawing, West couldn't draw for the life of him," Toma continued.

"East is extremely pure, cute, and naive. He would never hurt a fly and is the most kindhearted person you'll ever meet."

"He sounds like a little angel," Lyric said, with a smile.

"That he is," Toma said, smiling fondly.

"And West?" Davius asked.

"Ah, yes… West," Toma said. "Umm… West is… I wouldn't say he's a trouble maker… Though he has cause me quite a many headaches, but he's rather cruel… scheming… and has rather violent and sadistic tendencies."

"West is unbelievably smart and has an IQ over two hundred, but he's mostly indifferent to anyone other than East. And when you get his attention and/or interest… I guess the best way to describe it is you don't want his interest…" Toma tried to explain in the best way possible.

"Daddy?" came a soft voice. The four generals turned to look at the doorway where a beautiful little boy, featuring Toma's characteristics, but with gold eyes, not red, was peaking through the doorway.

"East," Toma said, a little alarmed. "Aren't you supposed to be studying right now?"

The little beauty flinched subconsciously, and with a pouting expression said, "But West already learned all that stuff. So it's all in my head."

With a doting expression, Toma asked, "But do you understand it?"

"No…" East said, looking down at his feet. He then lifted his head, with a semi-wronged expression, "But West does."

"Come here," Toma said, motioning East to come into his arms. East happily obliged and snuggled up in his father's embrace.

Playing with his fingers, East stared curiously and shyly at the three other men in the room. He could tell the purple haired one was a Ger just like himself, because of the little black diamond mark underneath his left eye. East wore a similar mark under his right eye, but his was just the black outline of the diamond. The diamond would magically fill itself in when East lost his virginity.

"Hi, Little One. My name is Lyric, but you can just call me Uncle Lyer," Lyric said, with a softer smile than the usual fake one he had plastered across his face.

"I'm your Uncle Davius," Davius joined in and then pointed to Warren. "And that's your Uncle Warren."

"Hi," East said, with a little wave, but ultimately just continued to hide himself in Toma's embrace.

"Do you want to make some friends? My son is very handsome," Davius said.

"But I have West," East replied.

"But don't you want someone to play with?" Lyric asked?

"West can make friends too," Toma said, looking down at East.

Squeezing Tina's shirt in his little hands, East said, "If West can make friends then I guess it's okay."

"Why's that?" Davius asked.

"Because West feels lonely sometimes," East replied, a little timidly.

"He does?" Toma asked, once again feeling alarmed.

"West denies it, but I know he does," East mumbled, a little stressed.

"Can we talk to West?" Warren spoke.

"Okay," East said, with a little nod. He then pulled a ribbon out of his pocket and handed it to Toma, "Here you go."

Toma obediently took the Royal blue ribbon from East's hands and pulled East's shoulder length hair up into a low pony. Almost immediately East's bright and sparkly eyes dimmed and he started radiating an aura of coldness and indifference. West then freed himself from Toma's grasp and sat next to him, leaving quite a bit of space in between the two.

"What do you want?" West asked coldly, obviously annoyed, and the other's couldn't help but notice that the diamond outline that had previously been on the right side, faded and reappeared on the left.

West then proceeded to pour himself a cup of tea, and elegantly and gracefully sat in place, drinking the scorching hot liquid, with no fluctuation whatsoever.

"Hello, West," Lyric said.

"Hello, Lier," West said, making Lyric eye twitch.

"I told East that he could call me Uncle Lyer."

"Yes, Lier," West said, and returned his focus to his personalized lavender tea.

"West, do you want to make some friends," Davius said, after he came out of his stupor seeing the beautiful boys change. If East was a cute, down to earth, and innocent beauty, then West was an iceberg god that one could only stare at in admiration and never touch.

West turned his eyesight towards Davius and his look, sent shivers down the General's spine. "Why would I ever want to do such a distasteful thing?"

"Distasteful?" Davius echoed, with a stupid expression.

Then West turned, looked out the window, and crossed his legs. With a blush only noticeable through his ears, he then spoke, "I mean, if East wants to spend time with some little brats I could turn a blind eye."

"Pfft," Lyric let out, trying his best not to laugh and all the generals then had one thought in their heads, 'Cute'.
