Chapter 109 - Primal Fury

Devotion arrived just in time to see the blade enter Victor's abdomen. He was close enough to see Victor's normally bright blue eyes dull, and to see him spit out blood on Dreven's face. Dreven Krauss calmly pulled the blade out of Victor, letting him collapse to the ground.

Then, Devotion just saw red. He felt more pure anger than he had ever felt in his life. Alex and Victor had both been critically injured, potentially even killed, right in front of him. And it was his fault.

The lightning crackling around Devotion grew thicker and thicker, and that aura of destruction grew even more potent.

"Finally. Someone worth my time." Dreven Krauss said, grinning. As his blade absorbed Victor's blood, it grew to the size of a greatsword, forcing Dreven to use two hands to even carry its weight. "Come on, use that technique of yours as much as you can. Full power. Come at me." Dreven taunted.
