"Come on, he had to have rested somewhere!" Devotion said, mostly out of frustration. He was growing tired from so many battles back to back, and really wanted a somewhat safe place to rest. He assumed that the cultivator he had just fought had to have rested somewhere safe, and it couldn't be that far. After all, he had claimed that this was his territory at first.
"I think I got something." Leza said, kneeling down on the ground. She had found a small pile of leaves that appeared... irregular, somehow. Like they had been hastily put into place, rather than lying their naturally from the canopy of trees above them.
Sure enough, Leza was right. As soon as she moved them aside with her hand, she found the entrance to a deep cavern of some sort.
"Thank the heavens." Devotion said with relief. Ysmir agreed with him internally. They had all grown pretty tired, and another battle right now might be disastrous.
