"Let's just get home, huh?" Devotion said, nearly falling on top of Victor. He was weak. His hands burned with pain every time something touched them. In other words, Devotion was in absolutely pathetic condition
"My god, you really did it this time. Let's get to your dorm. After that, though, you owe me a hell of an explanation." Victor said, helping limp Devotion back to the Summoner's Guild. They got a few odd looks from crowds as they moved, but it didn't phase Devotion. Actually, nothing did. He was somewhat delirious at this point.
After a few minutes, they had woven their way through the streets towards the Summoner's Guild. Just as they were about to turn a corner, someone shouted behind them.
"Hey! That's the guy! Come on, the Lady might want to speak to him. Sir!" A guard called out. Devotion recognized him as one the guards Devotion had lied to. He wasn't sure who "the Lady" was, but it couldn't be good.
