ISABELLE
Her eyes spoke revenge, they spoke death, and this time I was really sure I fucked up, the apology was right on my lips and I was just about to sacrifice all my dignity and beg that she did not hurt me. This is why I was thankful to Asher and for so many reasons.
"What the hell, Isabelle?!" His long legs brought him in between both of us in just a few agitated steps and no one else needed to tell me to step the hell away. "How dare you?"
I looked away with a small sigh, jutting my chin upwards in the air, it was foolish to agitate her any further but the embarrassment I felt from having almost apologized to her fueled me on. I needed to make up for that "how dare I not? She is nothing but dirt under my shorts and she acts as if she is god? You lucky Asher came here when he did, I wouldn't have let you walk away with just that."
Her eyes widened and she swung back but I was already a safe distance and Asher would not let her hit me, I was certain of that.
