ISABELLE
When I opened my eyes, it did not take me long to figure out I was not in my room, not on my bed. But that did not mean I was not still confused. This room was bigger than Mine was and it had calmer and more sophisticated tones than mine did. The sheets felt like heaven, and they were all white, not a color I would ever choose for my sheets, ever. I do not even want to think of how I would have to get them trashed or cleaned if an accident happened every other month. Pushing off the covers, the cold air on my now prickly skin added to make me aware of my state of undress. Looking down at the cloth I had on, warmth filled my cheeks and ears and I was up immediately. At that instant, a sharp gasp escaped my lips when I saw the large portrait hanging opposite where I stood. Even if there was a doubt in my mind those alluring eyes kept me hooked and eliminated every trace of them, somehow it was even more compelling than staring into his eyes in real life.
