Chapter 5 - Almost or not

The thugs grinned from ear to ear as they eyed her, while Chin-sun nervously attempted to tug her skirt down, only to find that it couldn't quite cover her beautiful thighs. As they closed in step by step, an anticipation of a blissful night evident in their demeanor, Chin-sun backed away, trembling with fear.

"Hey,"
They whirled around to see a pair of purple eyes peering at them. His figure seamlessly merged with the darkness, rendering him virtually imperceptible. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes, suggesting a daring and reckless nature. Chin-sun appeared as though her soul had fled her body, recognizing the pair of eyes. She realized her situation had transitioned from the frying pan into the fire. During her childhood, Dong-hyun posed a significant threat. He was notorious for bullying students at their school, particularly targeting her. Engaging in gang fights and boasting a criminal record, he reveled in inflicting harm on others, earning a reputation as a malevolent force.

Emerging from the shadows, a sly grin spread across his chiseled face. Despite his striking features and towering stature, his volatile temper was notorious. Recognition glinted in his piercing gaze. The thugs trembled with fear, knowing better than to cross him. He turned his head and caught sight of them, causing them to stumble and flee in terror. A smile played on his lips as he approached Chin-sun, leaning in close to whisper, "I don't like to share my toys, especially not my favorites.

he scanned her and continued "You've changed."
"You look beautiful." He said as he caressed her face gently while glancing at her dangerously, her expression was that of horror and disbelief as his hand slid to her breast, he squeezed gently relishing its softness and gradually continued to her waist. Chin struggled with him but her attempts were feeble and futile as he slammed her to his body holding her possessively.
"Be a good girl" he whispered in a threatening tone. Chin felt disgusted and vulnerable as angry tears streaked her face. With all her might, she pushed, hit and struggled with him but he was quite strong. She bit his neck as hard as she could but it turned Dong-hyun on the more, he groaned, his voice was dangerous and aggressive, he slammed her to the wall, Chin felt dizzy with pain and fear, she felt her head as it was spinning madly, her breath was coming in with short pants, she screamed crying out for help.
Dong-hyun smirked menacingly as felt his inner beast coming to life, he was deeply aroused, he leaned closer when he felt a sharp pain in between his legs. In her final attempt of escape, Chin kicked him hard in the crotch and whirled to run but he gritted his teeth to bear the excruciating pain and caught her, with a harsh tug, he plummeted her to the ground.

He was about to rip off her skirt when he was kicked at the back and landed hard on the ground. "Miss! miss!" Chin-sun heard someone reach out to her before she passed out.
"Chin-sun! Chin-sun! Chin-sun!" Her eyelids fluttered open to find a pair of concerned gray eyes gazing at her. Han-gyeol, who was around her age, had strikingly handsome features and exuded confidence. Despite his calm demeanor, he possessed a unique and intriguing personality. She shuddered slightly, and Han-gyeol promptly took off his jacket and placed it over her. He unconsciously ran his fingers through his short blonde hair. "Are you feeling okay?" he inquired, his voice filled with worry.
"It's okay," he whispered,
"we're far away from that creep." A frown creased his forehead as he thought about Dong-hyun's audacity to touch her. Did he have a death wish?
"You have to report him," Han-gyeol said in an angry voice.
She shook her head, dismissing his words.
"Who will dare have him arrested?" she spoke miserably. Dong-hyun was a terror, and the police could not do much to him due to his influence and connections. Even if he was arrested, he would be bailed the next day, so what was the use, she thought.

Han-gyeol was confident that the police would not take action against him due to his influential position and the fact that the area belonged to him. His sense of authority and control reinforced this belief. He let out a sigh as he contemplated the situation. After assisting Chin-sun to stand, he accompanied her home. Her residence was a few blocks closer to his own. Though modest, her neighborhood was humble and familiar. As they reached the entrance of her building, they came to a stop.
"Promise me you won't mention this to anyone," she said, as he casted a meaningful gaze at her.
"Please," she pleaded.
Han-gyeol managed a nod.
"Thank you," she murmured and turned to leave, but Han-gyeol caught her arm.
"Please... please ensure your own safety," he said with a quavering voice. She nodded slowly, attempting to move, but his grip on her hand lingered before finally releasing her. As she walked away, she glanced back to see him standing at the entrance, his expression filled with worry and concern. With a small wave, she continued on her way.

Upon entering, Chin-sun found her mother waiting for her, her expression displaying clear displeasure and annoyance. She scolded Chin-sun severely and dismissed her with obvious anger. In a rush of tears, Chin hurried to her room. Her younger sister, Chin-hee, took the opportunity to taunt her, aggravating her further. Collapsing on her bed, Chin sobbed uncontrollably, much to Chin-hee's delight, who watched with a creeping, happy smile.

The following morning, Chin-sun awoke with a splitting headache, the memories of the previous night rushing into her mind, making her feel physically ill. With difficulty, she rose and slowly made her way to the door. Bearing the weight of sickening thoughts and fear, she held her head, struggling against its heaviness. As she opened the door, she suddenly froze, all color drained from her face.
