"Are you shocked, Alpha?" The Alien Vrericks scowled. "Your brother Dan died long ago, and I adopted his shape to trick you and gain knowledge about the realm. I believe my lord has everything by now to destroy your realm and eventually others." His voice sounded weird, and goosebumps erupted on his skin as he said those words.
"You're lying to me. Give me my brother back, you bastard." Colton attempted to deliver the punch, but he ended up throwing Colton away instead. "I'll murder you." Unfortunately, Colton's blows could not land. I used the key that Dean had given me to free his wolf.
I used fire magic and flung it at vrericks alien. When the magic ball struck his shoulder, he snarled, and Colton immediately shifted into wolf form; his claws slashed the Alien's chest, and vrericks stumbled back in pain. Then, with his canines, he snapped off the wings of Vrericks; slowly, the Alien couldn't fight, and Colton's wolf tore him apart in minutes. Before their body regenerated back, I swiftly stabbed the dragger to the heart of the Alien to halt the process, and the sticky fluid came out of the heart. And it stinks as I step back, and I see Colton as if he was losing control of his wolf, but he didn't; instead, he transformed back to his human form.
"Colton…" He gazed up with a pained expression, seeing the mangled shape of an alien body that had only a few minutes earlier resembled his brother, Dan. "My brother is deceased; could it be true?" I opened my lips to speak but didn't want to say to Colton, who glanced at me and tried to think.
"Colton, please allow me to take you back to your room." He says nothing but stares at the corpse of the Alien. I took his hand in mine and unlocked the teleportation. I escorted Colton back to my flat, and he stood in the middle of the room, lost in thought, with tears welling up in his eyes.
I grabbed Colton's hand and led him into my bedroom so he could relax and get some rest. He looked so tired. Colton had been standing in the center of my room, looking confused and in a lot of pain. Later, I will get in touch with Dean and explain what occurred, and I hope he has the solution to the puzzle of whether Dan is still alive. He just followed me; I made him sit on my bed.
Suddenly, he grabs my wrist as I am about to walk away. "Don't leave yet, please." I saw the suffering and nodded as Colton rested his head on the bed I had made for him. He clutched my hand, and I attempted to impart my Fae healing magic that may help him relieve his anguish, and his ebony eyes met mine. I'm enthralled by him and can't get enough of them.
"Aria…" My breathing became shallow as his intense stare and eyes peered at me with sensual passion, and his hand caressed my cheeks. I felt the heat build in my core. Colton's eyes gazed at me as if he were begging for permission, and while it dazed me with yearning, I nodded in response.
I closed my eyes as his lips connected with mine, and my body became electrified by the kiss. His hand slid behind my neck to further intensify the kiss. I moaned into him, and I could feel his anguish and fear as his body slowly relaxed, and he continued kissing me. Our bodies pressed against each other, and I could feel his erection. And I gasped as his kiss ran down my neck and my fingers ran through his hair.
Colton pauses before yanking my t-shirt. "Aria, I know you do not want to date or have sexual relations with one of your teammates." I gently lay my finger on his mouth to shut him from talking.
"Colton, you need to be aware of something... It's not only you I have emotions for." He glances at me with a knowing expression.
"I understand. Aria and I don't want to push you for anything, and I'm not going to.." Before he could complete his statement, I drew him in for a kiss, hoping to deflect Colton's attention away from himself. It's not that I don't want him; who could say no to such a gorgeous face?
"We can discuss it later, Colton." Because I need if you st..." His lips engulfed mine, and he tugged at my t-shirt, and I yanked him out of his. My fingers followed his magnificent abs, his breath hitched, garments scattered away in a few minutes, and his hand cupped my bosom. His glance scanned every inch of my skin as if memorizing them, and his hand was talented. I never experienced experiences of pleasure on this level, only by hand with any of my previous casual relationships.
When his fingers finally made their way between us, I gasped. When his tongue finally got a hold of me, I let out a low groan as I felt his hand accelerate. I gasp in despair as he draws back his fingers. He smirked at me and then, wasting no time, hovered over me and gently went into me and let me adapt to him. As he moved in, I could feel the heat building up in my stomach, and his kiss caused me to moan. And I came crashing with pleasure as I saw stars in front of my eyes. After Colton's pleasure-filled shudder, his mouth rested on my shoulder to stifle his moan.
We were a sweaty mess, and I saw Colton's stare locked on mine. "Thank you, Aria." He drew me close, and I rested my head on his chest. Somewhere inside me, I felt remorse creeping in since I had said no to Xavier that day, and Now I'm here sleeping with Colton, and it's my fault. I let my guard down, and desire took over; what if my teammates quarrel because of me, and this would be bad?
As I walked out of my room, I let him sleep. As the guilt set in, I never imagined that I would sleep with the previous life's tyrant, but the experience I slept with Colton was so unlike what I had encountered in my previous life. Can I get advice from Maggie on handling this matter, or will she believe I'm a woman who sleeps with everyone? I didn't feel comfortable when I thought that way.
I did not yet have the strength to communicate with Dean; fortunately, the rest of my teammates were still working their temporary shifts.
I prepared some chamomile tea for myself since I was apprehensive, and my muscles became painful as I walked about. The pictures of Colton and me raced through my head, growling at my thoughts and pushing them away from me, and I poured the hot tea as I dipped the tea bag and let it lie for a few minutes before going to the table and opening the book to read.
"Rare Species are born when the earth's time is grave, and all the magical realms and humans cannot battle the unknown cause of the universe's devastation to the planet. It is stated that the rare are the ones born to resist the curse of the earth bestowed by the gods. Rare individuals battle to keep the world safe, and if they die before defending the earth, nothing can rescue it from destruction."
I looked through the index to find the chapter discussing Rare's relationship, and I immediately turned it over, bypassing the history and magic for the time being. "Rare born, kid. They will have more partners than one, as they are a hybrid of all power. This lures the stronger male or female partners to mate with them, so their bloodline flows for future Rare to be born in crisis." I swallowed as I read that paragraph, and when I laid the book down, I saw my tea had cooled enough to drink while digesting the knowledge I had just gained.
I realized why Maggie gave me the book to read and why I was drawn to them. Can I talk with Hudson, Xavier, and Colton upfront and tell them I have feelings for the three of them? If I keep quiet on this matter, eventually, they battle for my adoration, and the team will split apart, which does not seem right. Even if it's uncomfortable for me to speak out, I must do so.
"Aria…" When I hear Colton's voice calling me, I immediately turn around to look at him as he walks toward me while he is dressed. I let out an inward sigh and silently thanked God that he was wearing his clothes because I knew that if I saw his muscles again, I would start lusting after him. He takes the seat next to me.
