Arthur wakes up in his new room. Hearing light snoring coming from the blanket on top of him, after lifting the blanket, two tired eyes open in his direction.
"Is it morning already?" she mutters in a sleepy voice.
Arthur just pats her head and shifts her awkwardly to the side.
"Get dressed, I'm going to make breakfast." He says while standing up, before feeling a hand grab him.
"Noooo don't go,"
"Hey, I'll be back, okay?"
Arthur gets some newly fitted clothes. a tunic with some comfy pants and then steps outside the room. Stepping into the hall, he peeks into Marida's open office to see her snoozing at her desk. he snickers to himself, closes the door, and moves on down the stairs.
He walks into the kitchen and takes out a pan, some eggs, and bacon. He breaks an egg into a pan when he hears a thud coming from beside him.
"Howdy partner".
Arthur turns his head. "How did you get here?"
"Wouldn't you like to know."
In front of Arthur stood a tall man in black clothing underneath a brown trench coat. On his head, there was a brown fedora that was touching the ceiling. The man walks over to Arthur and touches his forehead.
"I sensed a new powerhouse awakening in this continent. It's you, I'm certain, but why you.. that I can not figure." He looks puzzled even with his expressionless face. He takes off his leather glove and rubs his chin. "You don't even look familiar." he sighs.
"Well, anyways wanna get strong, kid? Join me. "
Arthur looked at him in suspicion, 'System, what is his status?'

With mild frustration, he starts smelling something burning. he takes the pan off the stove and turns again, only to find the man gone. He turns once more to see the nicely dressed man pick up the burnt egg and eat it. hearing a loud crunch as he does.
"You like burnt eggs, huh?"
The man licks his fingers as he lets his orange eyes skim over the red eyed teenager.
"Answer the question."
Arthur looks up and sighs. "First off, I don't know you. Second off, no. I dont need your help. "
The tall man lets out an amused smile and then leans down. "I admire your want to walk this path on your own. However, I doubt you're strong enough to even cross half of the bridge."
Arthur, getting a bit annoyed, throws a jab towards the man, but before it can connect, the man is gone. Turning around, he can see him in the doorway to the hallway. "The name is Bill, and if you're not with me, then you're against me. His orange eyes glint as he decides to take his leave. I will see you around... I never did catch your name. "
The black haired teenager stood proud while he announced, "I am Arthur."
The tall man lets out a creepy smile "Well Arthur I will send some subordinates to take care of you in a few days to test you. I do want to find out how strong you are. Maybe you'll be a worthwhile meal. " The man licks his lips whilst evilly giggling to himself on the way out. The teenager is now alone with his thoughts. 'Who could that have been? Did he know my father? No, no, he should have recognized me then, as Marida did.' The boy decides to continue cooking the meal, and soon a groggy Allison comes down the stairs. He puts down a plate of food in front of her.
Her eyes go wide as she glances on the plate in front of her "Arthur you really didn't have to." He smiles at the response and pats her on the head. Before putting down a plate of his own. He takes a bite of the bacon, and a notification pops up in the side of his view.

He looks at it in confusion. Every day? That can't be right, right?
He takes another bite and sees the progress bar go up very slightly. He sighs as he continues his breakfast.
Finishing the last bite, he picks up the plates and begins washing them, as he's washing them, Allison comes up, "Who were you speaking to, by the way?" Arthur stops
"You heard that, huh?" He sighs."Truth is, I don't know, but it might not be bad news. I'll ask Marida, but I don't know if I'll find out about it."
Arthur walks up to her and cups her face
"If it's dangerous, I'll have to leave for a while, is that okay?"
She looks up at him and grabs his hands. "As long as you promise to return."
Arthur smiles. "I'll always return"
