Nathan and Casey walked out of the hospital, but they stopped when they saw Mike on the terrace, coming straight to them.
"Mike," Nathan whispered.
"What are you here for?" Casey asked curtly, unable to hide her hatred for Mike for putting Nathan in such a bad condition. And maybe Oskar would never have been able to commit a crime if he had told them from the start. For her, everything fell apart because of that man's hypocrisy.
Mike bent his face, then worked up the courage to focus on Nathan again.
"I... I want to say goodbye because I have to go back to Switzerland today as well..thank you for being good to me all this time, for being my friend ... for wanting to be my brother ... I'm sorry for all the mess that happened," he said sadly.
Nathan was silent, as if unable to say anything else because he was disappointed but also sad to see Mike having to part from him in this kind of situation.
