Jane stared at Robert who was instantly angry with him. Her eyes were filled with tears, she didn't think that her husband would threaten to kill her just because of money, then was there no love in his heart all this time?
"If having possessions can make you happy, then have I not meant anything to you all this time so you prefer me to be silent by killing me? Does wealth mean more to you than me?" She wondered in tears.
Robert sighed, then turned his face away.
"I just don't want you to get too involved," he said curtly.
