"The priestess is indeed different from all the other women," I uttered while looking at the priestess. Kalmin and Aphia are talking happily at their table while Eshaan and Esmeray continue receiving gifts from our guests.
"Her personality is different from the women here in our kingdom because she's from the other world." The king replied.
I've been observing my son, Kalmin, and the priestess since I heard the priestess calling him a frog. I got curious about what was going on between them when Kalmin's attendant reported his changes after meeting the priestess.
Kalmin's personality is cold and strong. Even his siblings cannot make him laugh. It is only the priestess who makes him laugh, smile, be angry, annoy, mad, and talk a lot effortlessly. It is like only the priestess can bring the best and worse out of my son.
"I was shocked to see the bracelet on Aphia's wrist," I stated. "Each gem costs a fortune." I chuckled. "Each gem has his symbol sculptured on it, and each gem has a powerful magical protection enchanted on it." The king laughs.
"Your son knows how to mark his possession and protect who belongs to him." He said while shaking his head.
I let out a deep sigh as I realized that my son knows what he wants and how to get it. I've never seen him like this before until now. "Our twins love the priestess as well," I stated.
"I was actually surprised to see them getting along with the priestess. Our twins are very meticulous in choosing people who want to be their friends. I couldn't believe they allowed the priestess to hug and kiss them." He said.
"Our twins hugged and kissed her too. They love the priestess, and they treat her like a sister." I added, and the king nodded. "She has a good heart, beautiful face, and strange personality that our children love the most about her. We couldn't ask for more."
"Are those the qualities of a crown princess that you are looking for in a woman?" The king asked.
"Yes, your majesty. Our children know how to judge people, and I trust them." I answered, and he nodded. "Do you have any objections about it, your majesty?" I asked.
He shakes his head. "I trust my queen in handling this kind of decision." He said, and he smiled at me. "I am glad you are not against Kalmin's decision." He said.
"I would not take Kalmin's happiness away from him, your majesty. If this means he will be a good king in the future, then I will give him whatever makes him happy."
"I hope everything goes well." He said, and my eyes automatically looked for Clovis from the crowd. I found him leaning on the wall at the corner of the great hall. I followed where he was looking, and it did not surprise me to find out that he was looking at the priestess. I sighed as a sign of distress. "What is wrong, my queen?" The king asked, and I quickly diverted my gaze back to him.
"I've been observing the priestess these past few months, your majesty. While observing the priestess, I found out that Clovis behaved differently towards the priestess." The king looked at me in confusion.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I am not quite sure about it yet, but I think Clovis likes the priestess," I stated, and he looked at me in shock.
"It's a big trouble, my queen." The king worriedly said. Clovis is Kalmin's cousin. He is the kind of person who never backs down to any challenge. He has the dignity and courage to do everything he wants. He always gets what he wants.
"We can't do anything about it, your majesty. Let's just see what will happen to the three of them." I suggested, and he breathed out.
"I won't allow any conflict in our family." He said, and I nodded.
Only the priestess can tell who will win between the two men in her life. I still hope that everything goes well.

"Commander Clovis, why are you here alone?" A few of our relatives asked the same question while I was looking at the main table in front.
The way Aphia smiles and laughs at Prince Kalmin is stopping me from disturbing their conversation. I hate the fact that she's enjoying Prince Kalmin's company, but her smile and laughter are enough for me to feel at ease.
I feel distressed every time I think of Prince Kalmin's changes and the way he acts towards Aphia. Every man can tell the reason behind those acts, and I choose not to name it. The bracelet he gave to Aphia declared his feelings for her, and Aphia has no idea about it.
The king and queen saw the changes of Prince Kalmin as well. They already probably know that it was because of Aphia. I am afraid that the queen will pick Aphia as the crown princess. If that happens, there is nothing that I can do about it. The king prohibits any conflict in our family, but I will make an exception this time.
Aphia is different from all the women I know. She is different in so many ways. I love how he makes me feel happy every time I see or talk to her. She can make me smile and be happy without making any effort. Her presence is enough for me to be happy, and I think it's crazy.
I respect Prince Kalmin as our crown prince and as our supreme commander. I believe he deserves the crown. He also possesses all the abilities and skills of a good supreme commander. However, when it comes to Aphia, I think I deserve a fair fight. I would not let him get ahead of me just because he is the crown prince and our supreme commander.

"What the hell are you talking about?! I did not do that!" I roared at Prince Kalmin. He was telling funny stories to the twins about me. The twins like his made-up stories, but I can't go with the flow since he is pissing me off.
"Your highness," Prince Kalmin's attendant approached him. "Sorry to disturb, but we need Lady Aphia's assistance." He said.
"What happened?" He asked.
"One of the guests is having hard time breathing." He announced, and I quickly stood up.
"Please take me to him," I said. The attendant looked at Prince Kalmin first to ask for permission, and he nodded.
"This way, Lady Aphia." He said, and I followed him. I looked over my shoulder, and I saw Prince Kalmin walking after me.
"You are coming?" I asked.
He looks at me with a straight face. "You told me not to leave you alone, right?"
I smirk at him. "You are such a good guy, Gin." I teased him, and I chuckled when he rolled his eyes at me in annoyance.
We found a woman slouching on the chair while breathing heavily when we reached the table near the entrance of the great hall. I scan her whole body and notice red spots on her arms and neck. Her lips and face are swelling. She suddenly vomits, and I hear the people around us gasp.
"I think it's an allergy," I said. "It's a food allergy," I added.
"Can you help her?" Prince Kalmin asked, and I nodded. I place my palm over her chest to heal her.
"No!" She suddenly yelled, shoving my hand away. "I don't want your filthy hand touching my body!" She shouted while having trouble breathing.
I scoff in disbelief before looking at Prince Kalmin, showing my hand. "Is my hand look filthy?" I asked him, and he chuckled. This woman is unbelievable. I can't believe she has the audacity to ignore treatment despite her condition. "You have a food allergy. I need to treat you as soon as possible because if not you may die." I stated, and the people around us gasped in shock.
She looks at me in shock. "Do you want me to heal you or not?" I asked.
"W-Who are you to talk to me like that?!" She shouted again while glaring at me. I sighed in frustration. Gosh! Her attitude sucks.
"I am no one, but I am here to help you. I will not touch your body. I will just place my hand over your chest. Will that be fine with you?" I asked, and her eyebrows knitted together.
"I-I don't ask you to d-do this! I d-don't owe you a-anything!" She said, and I nodded.
"Yes. I am doing it because I insist. You don't owe me anything." I said, and she shut her eyes close. I guess that's my approval to heal her. I hate her attitude, but I have to do my responsibility as the priestess. I sighed.
I place my hand over her chest and start gathering my magic in my hand. "Cure," I uttered, and the people around us gasped in amusement when they saw the gold dust scattering in the air.
Her breathing stabilized, the red spots on her skin vanished, her lips and face were back to normal.
She opens her eyes and fixes her posture, sitting properly on her chair. She rolls her eyes at me. "T-Thank you. You may now take your leave." She said before fixing her big feathery hat. I look at Prince Kalmin in disbelief while shaking my head. I turned my back on her and walked towards Prince Kalmin.
I whisper to Prince Kalmin. "The next time she does that to me, I will pull her hair," I said, and he chuckled. I felt his hand on my back, leading me the way back to our table.
"I will help you do that." He answered, and I laughed at him.
"You will pull her hair as well?" I asked in disbelief while laughing. Imagining him pulling that woman's hair is hilarious. "She is one of your relatives, isn't she?" I asked.
He shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know her." I looked at him with a straight face. "If I were you, I would not heal her." He said.
I shake my head. "I cannot do that. My responsibility as the priestess is to heal and protect everyone regardless of their nature, race, status, appearance, gender, attitude, and situation in life. I cannot just ignore or abandon her because of her rudeness." I explained, and he nodded while smiling at me.
He had a proud smile on his face, and I laughed at him. Making him proud feels good.
