After Remelia dismissed us with a hint that she'd have a plan tomorrow regarding the hunt game, Nelia excused herself pretty quickly. Which is weird because, until now, she wouldn't leave unless I do or Ayane is scaring her. But then again, I hadn't seen her in the school today, not even in class, nor did I have the chance to ask her about it. She just said goodbye and meet tomorrow—without a single eye contact with me.
Maybe I'm just too used with the clingy side of her. I don't miss it. Or at least I think so. Despite my wish to turn off her excitement button sometimes, now I just want to know what gives. As I walk back to home, the curiosity turns into concern. Was it me? Did I do something wrong? I recall nothing that'd make her that way. Then again, I'm not really the type of guy to understand feelings. I just know they existed when I retired from my former job. If it wasn't me, then what? Did something happen to her? Whatever it is, it's clear she's avoiding me.
