Chapter 7 - Elucidate the obscurity

Q arrived at school and walked up to his first class, History at Room 08. As a routine, Q stops by a vending machine near the cafeteria. He bought some of his favourite snacks and continued his way to the class. Once he entered the room and to his surprise, he was the first person to arrive. He is usually one of the few whose tardy to a morning class. He didn't know that the class got set back because he didn't get the message reviewed earlier that morning. So while waiting for his other classmates to arrive, he makes his attempt to complete the sudoku that is still incomplete from yesterday's event.

There was something strange though about the sudoku itself. The numbers were unsolvable at first glance. Thus, Q needed to take a closer look and strategise his attempt to solve the sudoku. Unfortunately his first strategised attempt comes to a failure. He tried again but it all led to a dead end. It's obvious that he really needs to take a different approach to that mind solving game. Everything is paused at that moment since his history's teacher arrived in the classroom.

His history's teacher, Mr. Zuke started the class once he entered the classroom by asking about the revolution that happened to their country back then. He then proceeded to continue with his lecture assisted by his prepared powerpoint slides. Q kept his sudoku and tried to pay his full attention to the class. Mr. Zuke then passes out some homework for them to complete and send them by the end of the week. The homework is about the Revolution of Pongo District and one of the questions asked about the unsolved mystery of one of the mysterious places in Pongo City regardings the revolution which makes Q a bit confused and curious but he decided to keep it to himself at that point of time.

He then packs up and moves on to the next class. He was quite moved that some of the students asked him about the condition of Alex since they have just heard the news via the school newsletter in the evening via the announcement for public confirmation and official news spreader. All he did was reply that Alex will be okay and no more information due to controlling the crowd's attention and accident's damage. Some of the reactions were alright but some are remarkably persuasive to Q. But Q is still on his own stand by telling them that Alex will be alright even though he himself does not even feel certain about it.

The school had just finished for that day and Q was preparing himself to visit Alex at the hospital. He packed all of his belongings and waited for an e-hailing at the waiting area in front of his school.

All of a sudden he got a message from his father. His father sent him a picture of an unknown package that is left in their garden and asks Q whether he ordered something online or not since the package contains the label of Q as the receiver and the sender is a company with an international industrial factory address. Q denied his father's question and asked his father to just leave the package alone and untouched.

But little did he know, his father has a sky-high peak of curiosity about the package since it has somewhat a unique structure to be a decent regular parcel. His father then nearly wanted to open the package when all of a sudden he got a call of a suspicious person around the forest near his house. Sylan then adjourned his approach of opening the package and hurriedly left the parcel alone at the exact place of finding.

At the same time, Q's e-hailing has arrived with a four door sedan type of car but somewhat luxurious. It is unusual for a grandeur-type of car to be picked up or even registered as an e-hailing in Pongo City. But he enters the car anyway because of his intention to see Alex and he's going to be busy later on if he didn't visit Alex that time. Once he enters the car, he sees the driver with a baffled yet cool face because the driver wore full face covers and Q can only see his pair of eyes. Peculiar but passable.

"So, PCMC?", asks the driver to Q while seeing Q's face via his rear view mirror.

"Umm, y… yeah. T… that's co… correct…", replied Q with a slight stutter while locking his eyes on the driver who's still looking at him via the rear view mirror.

The driver nods quietly and starts to drive off to the designated destination. It started off fine but eventually Q saw the surroundings as to not really be the way to the PCMC. It looks weird and has never been through before in his life. But all of the singularities, Q decided to go on with it and keep himself busy with something else. Therefore, he brings out his unsolved sudoku and tries to crack them again.

After several hours had passed without Q realising them, the car finally stopped but the destination didn't seem to be the initiated PCMC but it happened to be another PCMC which is with C as Countryside. It just happenstance to be exactly where his mother's workplace was. This is indeed such a miscommunication between Q and the e-hailing driver but still it is partially Q's fault for not rebuking and reconfirming with the driver while on the way there.

Q felt demented, alarmed, and all sorts of mixed feelings natheless he exited the car since he is diffident to argue about the confusion plus he did not want the driver to feel compunction regarding the issue. He is absolutely bemused by this and does not know what he should do next. He sits on a bench in front of the MedCent (short form for medical centre) and gets himself together while doing so.
