Chapter 4 - Like Her

The impact of falling from a high place was very strong. His knees were bent and he staggered back a step. His coat fluttered in the wind, bringing with it a cold aura.

He lowered his gaze and looked coldly at Jiang Boyan. Her small face was pressed against his chest, and his pure black shirt made her skin look even whiter.

"Young... Young master!"

The two servants immediately ran up to him when they saw Ji Han.

"Young master, Miss Jiang was originally swinging on the swing, but for some reason, she jumped down from the swing..."

Ji Han looked at them sinisterly. "Is this how you take care of her?"

The two servants knelt down at the same time and begged for forgiveness while trembling. "Young master, please forgive us. We didn't expect Miss Jiang to suddenly become ill. It's our fault!"

Jiang Boyan blinked innocently.

She was not sick, and she definitely would not fall ill.

But since she did not know what Ji Han was trying to do by bringing her out, she had to act like a lunatic.

Especially since Ji Han was so cruel and merciless. If he found out that she was pretending to be sick to deceive him, she would definitely die a horrible death.

That was why she had to show some symptoms, to make Ji Han think that her actions were unreasonable and that she was a complete lunatic.

This was the way of survival that she had learned after three years of training in the restricted area.

The only unexpected thing was that when she jumped down, Ji Han actually chose to reach out and catch her. Moreover, he held her in his arms for so long and did not set her down.

She scratched her face and looked at the two maids who were still begging for mercy. She just did not know how Ji Han would deal with them.

As soon as this thought arose in her mind, she saw Ji Han kick one of the maids to the ground with a fierce look in his eyes.

"Take these two pieces of trash away!"

The bodyguard in black immediately responded and dragged them away.

The world became quiet.

Jiang Boyan looked up at Ji Han's sharp silhouette and, out of the blue, raised her hand to pick up the hibiscus petals that fell on his shoulder.

Ji Han lowered his gaze and looked at her with a gloomy expression.

The girl in his arms was wearing a cream-colored nightgown and she curled up into a small ball. There was not a trace of lingering fear on her tiny face although she had fallen from the floor above. Her almond-shaped eyes were on him and she looked calm.

Jiang Boyan saw that his gaze was fierce. She pinched the petal and threw it back, but she did not put it back. In the end, she stuffed it into her mouth, chewed it, and ate it.

Hmm, it was a little bitter.

He was speechless.

Ji Han pursed his thin lips and looked away in disgust. He carried her and walked into the villa.

Yan Xiu looked at his back and turned to the men in black. "From now on, Young Master Ji will come over more often . You guys just stay in the courtyard and wait on him. You don't have to wait on him in the house. Do you understand?"

"Yes!"

Jiang Boyan's ears hurt from the sound of their voices, but she still caught the key words.

In the future, Young Master Ji would come over again..

What did he mean?

In the future, would Ji Han come over often? Not only did he arrange a bunch of bodyguards outside, but he himself also had to come personally?

Ji Han was the head of a financial cooperation. Why did he keep a mental patient like her locked up?

Jiang Boyan was chewing on her fingers and thinking when she felt her body go weightless. When she came back to her senses, Ji Han had already thrown her onto the sofa.

He sat down beside her. He grabbed her chin with his large, well-defined hand, forcing her to raise her head and look into his eyes.

Ji Han's pupils were not as black as his hair. Instead, they were dark gray.

At this moment, he was holding onto the armrest of the sofa and staring straight at Jiang Boyan. His gaze was filled with scrutiny.

Jiang Boyan looked back at him. Her gaze drifted around and finally landed on his wrist.

Only then did she realize that there was a vigorous black cat tattooed on the inside of his wrist. It was obviously a cute little animal, but when it was tattooed on his pale skin, it gave off an inexplicable sense of strangeness.

As if dissatisfied with her absent-mindedness, his hand that was holding her chin suddenly tightened. It was so painful that she almost cried out in pain. She had no choice but to shift her gaze back to his face, only to see that there was a hint of emotion in his eyes that she could not understand.

Ji Han finally let go of her and sighed in a low and hoarse voice, "She really looks like her..."
