"Have you considered being in a relationship since..."
I trailed off, referring to him not ever having a girlfriend due to the past bullying and body image issues he had.
He paused the fifth episode of the series we were watching and turned his attention to me.
"Why do you ask?" He questioned.
I opened my mouth to give a flippant answer or hassle him to just answer the question without asking me one in return but I thought better of it and instead, went down the better route.
"I've told you I like you and you've told me you feel the same. I don't like wasting time, time that could be used to build more memories as you know?" I shrugged.
"I just want to know if you want to so I'll know whether I'm wasting my time pursuing something that shouldn't be pursued. It would put my mind at ease if I know where you stand," I concluded, wringing my fingers as I waited for his response.
