"He was there?!" I asked, not believing my ears at all.
"Are you serious?"I asked again, wanting confirmation.
"He was there, out in the lobby, so he must have heard the ruckus the foolish man was making," She said, folding her palms in her laps.
"I couldn't take the way he way he was shouting and talking down to me as if I am nothing.
"Even though your father and I are not on good terms, that doesn't call for such blatant disrespect.
