Flicking off a crawling worm from her shoulders, Zera was wet from head to toe. She had been wondering how they were making it so far, and it seemed they would need to up their game.
She fired barrier after another as they rushed through the rain. The monsters that tried to attack them were either repelled by the barrier or slashed by the sharp sword connecting their bodies.
Occasionally, a black worm or two would slip past the barrier Zera would evoke. It was the least of their concerns, though.
The mega zombie had called for more backup. Not only was the rain pouring and the ground almost infested by the black worms, but the vicinity was crawling with zombies and monsters of different kinds and sizes.
If someone were to look at the scene from a different perspective, one could say that Zera had signed herself up for certain death.
