Zera didn't expect her assumption to be valid. She predicted being brought to someplace she didn't know existed again.
Instead, Eros opened her mouth and screamed.
Zera had to cover her ears. Her voice echoed on the museum grounds, followed by a strong gust of wind that sent her backward, leaving Zera alone when the noise finally subsided.
Opening her eyes, Zera couldn't believe that worked. Eros was no longer in sight. An eerie silence followed her sudden screaming, and Zera felt uneasy about it.
"Whoa," Beatrix murmured, coming out of her hiding place. She looked at Zera, a hand to her mouth. "How did you figure that out?"
Zera blew out a sigh, gesturing with her head for them to move forward. She just realized that Eros might have called forth a few of the creatures to come to the same place they were at. That loud screaming was surely heard by nearby ones.
"I'll tell you on the way to the second floor. Right now, we should get moving."
