Water dripped from the faucet/ It was what woke Nayowmi from the restless sleep she had. Did she even really sleep?
Slowly lifting her head, Nayowmi looked at her surroundings and narrowed her gaze at the familiar-looking poster on the back of the wooden door.
The small room reminded her of her own little room in the shared apartment with her sister. Nayowmi blinked rapidly and forced herself to get to her feet.
She had a glimpse of the mattress, the pillow, the cover, and the wall. Even the tiny window was a replica of it.
Pulling herself together, Nayowmi used all the strength she had left to understand what was happening.
The last thing she could remember was coming back to the asylum. She was ready to wait for her punishment, unable to follow every demand of the Priestess.
Her teammates did not choose her, and now she was wondering if they had sent her to another team.
