'Nayowmi'
Nayowmi flinched. She hid it by shaking her hand and pretending to be immersed in watching over the horizon.
They were walking towards their target, trying to be inconspicuous and blend in with the crowd.
'Nayowmi… do not disappoint me.'
"Enough!" Nayowmi hissed. She belatedly realized that she spoke that out loud, causing the rest of her companions to look in her direction.
Zera immediately approached her.
"What's wrong?"
Nayowmi clenched her hands into fists. She was hiding the fact that she was close to panicking. But remembering to keep herself undetected, Nayowmi forced a smile and gulped down the anxiety building in the pit of her stomach.
"Sorry," Nayowmi muttered. She refused to look Zera in the eye. She refused to look any of them in the eye.
The guilt might be written entirely all over her face even though she had barely done anything yet.
Hence, Nayowmi ducked her head and fidgeted with her hands.
