'I wish sometimes we could escape reality.'
Zera could briefly remember herself saying that. She had often said it before, wishing she could escape her reality even for a minute.
High school was ending, and she was expected to follow in her father's footsteps. She'd be in a different school, away from her friends. What she had enjoyed would slowly become part of a past she would always treasure.
But the time couldn't be stopped. She had always known this was bound to happen one way or another.
Ironic as it was, though, now that she was in a different world, away from reality, she wanted nothing but to be back in it.
Holding their breaths, Zera and her friends were a step closer to the control room. After running away and making a run for the second floor once more, she figured out that the control room was somewhere on the second floor.
