The plan was simple.
Or so Zera thought.
Last night, when she and her friends planned the trick that they would be pulling today, it gave them hope. They were looking forward to it.
However, now that they were setting things up before any other player could arrive, she doubted whether it was worth doing it.
What if they were wrong, and Zayd catches them?
They'd be paying the highest price. That was for sure.
Zera, Nayowmi, and Beatrix were guarding the door to the door of the pantry, their eyes trained on it while Astherielle stood by the food dispenser. Jaspreth was tinkering with something from behind.
From someone's point of view, they look like they were waiting for the food, standing innocently and looking bored.
But if an individual took a closer look, Zera tried her best to keep her hands from fidgeting.
She was beginning to regret their decision.
