"You're a freaking genius," Xavier mumbled. They ran to the second floor. Half of the monsters were attacked by the zombie falling from the ceiling.
It was either by coincidence, or the Watchers might have intervened. Zera could only speculate on the matter.
But she didn't have the entire day to do that. Hence, moving on, they needed to find another escape route while also not forgetting the original plot to finish off the mega zombie.
Listening to the snarls and the sound of torn flesh created by the zombie they tamed, Zera only shivered. She knew she had no stomach to see the end of it. She would have tried to help and maybe find their way out if she did.
But she refused to be a witness.
She might barf everything she had eaten, which wasn't even much.
