The earth-shattering sound of breaking glass covered their surroundings.
Zera immediately threw the orb in her hand and set up the barrier to keep the zombies at bay. She watched the monster lash out at the zombies.
The effort didn't go to waste as more zombies came near, allowing Zera and her company to brace themselves before making it out of the control room.
Leaving the other monster to fight with the horde, Zera ushered the other players to keep moving. They didn't have much time, and she was supposed to pick up the orb again after it completed its task.
Following her lead, the four players fought the zombies that came their way. They were able to arm themselves with swords and daggers.
Still trying to keep things lowkey and not attract attention, Zera watched the incoming zombies. She was observing where they were coming in.
