The border between life and the other side was actually pretty thin.
At least, that was Zera's thoughts when she saw what happened to Zion overnight.
While they were in the safety of the underground hideout, the Priestess released the unidentified monsters that the game had from the beginning.
It complicated a lot of things now that they were faced with several beasts. Zera had to crawl back into the hole and shut the lid tight before any of the roaming creatures spotted her.
Now the games really had begun, and there was no telling which was more dangerous: to be caught by other players or the monsters.
With their group left tensed, Zera caught Jaspreth's gaze. They exchanged a non-verbal conversation which ultimately led to Jaspreth nodding his head reluctantly before he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
He stood a little away from the others.
Zera observed him for a moment and saw his brows knit together, then he gasped.
