The bank was located close to the governor's office. And Zera would have rounded the corner, walking briskly to get things done with. However, Jaspreth had to pull her back and hide behind the building before it.
She took a moment to process what happened, only realizing that both the building where the governor's office was located and the bank were heavily guarded.
A few cars were parked on the curb, and some 'casually dressed' people were loitering on the grounds.
"What the hell?"
Zera was close to hissing. They barely started, and then the place was already flocked with people who were ready to stop Zera and her team from finding that clue.
"Do you know another way to get inside the building where the governor's office is?" Beatrix whispered to Zera. She expected them to ask her about that.
Zera doesn't have a response. She only visited the place at least once. She tried not to frequent it.
"I'm trying to remember."
