"Just how crazy is this woman?" Jaspreth muttered.
Zera gave them a summary of what she had been told. The Priestess had some serious issues and Zera still couldn't understand the logic of why she and her friends were chosen for this mess.
They each didn't share the same sentiment with the Priestess. That was at least one thing they had all agreed on.
"The maximum of craziness, which we don't know yet," Beatrix muttered. All this time, Sharmaine had remained quiet on the side.
Zera drummed her fingers on the table. None of them had touched the food or their drinks. It was nothing but a facade, anyway.
Not knowing how her friends were actually taking the news, Zera was afraid to lift her head. She was afraid that some things would change among them.
A tiny part of her wanted to believe that nothing could ruin their friendship. However, right now, she was scared that the Priestess' revelation would affect them somehow.
