'Worst-case scenario?'
Zera closed her eyes and held on to the hinges of the door. She and Beatrix had not anticipated for the floor shifting to happen while they were out and were about to move from one room to another.
The only luck they had was for Eros to be nowhere in the scene. If she had suddenly appeared, Zera was counting on losing another amount of health points. She might as well blame the Priestess for it.
"Hold on tight, Bee!" Zera called out to her friend. Dust, a mixture of unknown substances, almost clouded Zera's vision when she tried to pry her eyes open.
"Yeah, I'm trying to hold tightly!" Beatrix replied, half screaming and half whispering. They were in a situation where they can't even afford to let their frustration out.
Zera kept the keys in her pockets safe. Aside from their health points, they also couldn't afford to lose the keys they had so diligently found in some rooms.
