Zera heard her feet land on a wooden floor. She and Beatrix exchanged glances. The latter bit on her lower lip.
"I'm sorry."
Zera shook her head and even laughed.
"You have no idea how I was actually thinking of jumping down that ledge."
Beatrix stared at her friend strangely.
"Oh no, you didn't."
Zera shrugged.
"I won't force you if you don't believe me."
"I actually do," Beatrix frowned. "But I don't understand why you would even want to try. Experience?"
Zera shrugged.
"Maybe," she replied, a cold damp feeling suddenly made her skin crawl. "Alright, Eros might be on her way to coming back. Let's pick a side and then a door."
No longer wasting more time, Beatrix randomly approached a door to the right. She tried the knob and found that it was locked.
