It started with a few coffee meetups, which gradually became something else. Avalon couldn't believe how things turned out.
From strangers, Liam became someone who made her heart beat loudly in her chest.
Thoughts of him and his kisses would leave her alive most of the day. She even finished her work faster, eager to see him between her breaks and after work.
Despite the other problems she had in her life when Avalon was with Liam, the world fell away.
Finishing her report, Avalon almost jumped when the clock struck five. Work was finally over for the day and the rest of the week. She and Liam had plans to spend the afternoon together the next day.
It was a compromise for not being able to pick her up today at work. They agreed to meet at their favorite coffee house after lunch.
