Chapter 75 - It Was A Pity....

For a minute, just 60 seconds, everyone and everything in the forest stopped. They didn't stop by choice. How could that be? They had all entered the forest for a purpose. They wouldn't stop for no reason at all. At least, not before they obtained what they came for. No, it was something much more than that. They stopped because they felt the presence of something far more terrifying than they had ever encountered. A primordial fear that came from an instinct developed over thousands of years. A fear that came from deep within them. No one dared make a move, or even say anything. They simply froze where they were, hoping that the oppression they felt would dissipate. Yes, just for that one minute, the Moon Lake Forest was silent, as if frozen in time.
