Nathan shuddered. He hadn't heard her call him that since they had had Nathan and Soteria. In fact, she actually warmed up to him a bit because of the children. He couldn't understand where he went wrong. He walked up to test it and the results quickly came in. 99.29 percent match for Soteria. At first, he thought that it was a good thing, but when he saw his Luna and his son's faces turn ugly, he stopped and truly listened to what was said.
A match? A match for what? Wasn't it just a blood mat---. Wait. He was a blood match for Soteria? Of 99 percent? As in a parent? He opened his mouth to explain, but he quickly gathered that not even a dip in the River Lethe would save him at this point. He would simply look even guiltily than before.
Just how did this happen?
