He turned to look at them, his eyes practically dancing in amusement. Aletheia had to force herself to not scramble backward from the look in his eyes. The other men were crass and disgusting, but the look in his eyes scared her far more than the others had. He was looking at them as if they were newly-minted toys that he could add to a collection. Not people, toys. It might be jumping to conclusions, but the light in his eyes gave her a particularly bad feeling. As if he didn't just look at them as toys, but as toys he couldn't wait to break.
