The N2 playoff tournament has reached the semifinals. There was one known as the Strategic Master. The Strategic Master was able to bring his team to the semifinals and astonished the audience. They were surprised that there would be a new team and new players who were able to qualify for the semifinals in the Indonesian N2 playoff tournament, even though so far there were only a few favorite teams that would qualify for the N2 Tournament which will be held in Singapore later. They did not expect that the Strategic Master's team, named Club DROPY, could compete with the big teams, even though the club was a new club that was only created a few months ago.
Right now, the Bengawan Club, who was already waiting in the final round of the N2 playoffs, favored the DROPY Club against them. They, who had new members, hoped the club could fight them with a good fight.
They are like that because they want to prove that the only team in Indonesia that deserves to enter the N2 Tournament is their team, Club Bengawan, so the audience doesn't have high hopes for a newcomer club. They want to prove that the DROPY Club is still too early to compete on the International scene. They believe that the DROPY Club will not be able to fight the great clubs in Southeast Asia later if they qualify. Therefore, they waited for the DROPY Club in the final round to prove that they were the only ones who could get there, Tournament N2.
The playoffs were made even more interesting by the statement from the Bengawan Club owner. Many spectators want to see DROPY Club play in the semifinals later, and they hope that DROPY Club can qualify for the final round and prove that they can make it to the N2 Tournament held in Singapore.
They flocked to buy tickets to watch the semifinals of the playoffs since yesterday. They want to watch the riveting actions of the Strategic Master again in the match later. They enthusiastically went to the stadium where the match will take place. Some came with their families. Some come with a lover. Some also come with friends. Their only goal is to watch the playoff semifinals.
And the tickets were sold out before the game started tonight.
"Unlucky..."
A young man, who intended to buy tickets to the match, grumbled beside the young woman.
"It's okay. We can still watch the game on television."
"But..."
"Thank you. I love it when you take me to the N2 tournament playoffs, even though you're new to the game. Thank you, Bagas. You've made me happy."
The young woman smiled, looking at the stadium where the E-sport match was being held.
She was still happy even though her friend didn't manage to get a ticket to watch the match. It was enough for her to see that the young man, whose name was Bagas, had been willing to invite her in person to watch the match. She seemed to realize that Bagas had worked hard to get the ticket for herself even though Bagas had not been familiar with the Mobile Heroes game for a short time.
The young woman, whose name was Lala, who had short brown hair, and beautiful eyes that could make others happy, and who was Bagas and Daylon's junior when they were in the same high school, enjoyed her precious time even though Bagas didn't manage to get a ticket for them.
"Let us go home!"
When she turned and was about to walk, Bagas suddenly lifted the ticket seller's collar.
"Oi, you're lying, right!? You must have that other ticket in your pocket, right!?"
Realizing that, Lala pulled Bagas's arm.
"Bagas, stop it! It's okay."
Several guards started arriving because of the commotion. They quickly chased Bagas and Lala out of there.
When the two of them had moved away from the place, sitting on a chair in the public park, Bagas muttered to himself.
"I-I..."
He was disappointed, disappointed because he couldn't get tickets for him and Lala, even though he always kept in mind that he would watch the match with Lala. His disappointment made him a little depressed. He felt guilty for not being able to do anything about Lala.
"Why does it have to be like this?"
Bagas was wrapped in lethargy before Lala tried to calm him down.
"Bagas. I know that you tried to get tickets to the match. I know that you worked hard and raised money to buy those tickets for me. I also know that you want to make me watch the game live. Honestly, just knowing that makes me happy. I'm quite happy that you want to take me to watch a game tournament that I like. I thank you for that. So, I beg you, don't feel guilty like this."
Lala seemed to feel guilty about what Bagas did for her. She has made it difficult for Bagas in this matter, even she has made Bagas feel guilty for her mistake.
She wanted to apologize to Bagas for this, but she realized that if she did, the situation would only get worse. If she did that, Bagas would be even more guilty and try other ways to get tickets to the match. She realized Bagas' stubbornness.
All she can do now is try to make Bagas not guilty of not being able to watch the match tonight.
"I wish I had worked even harder. If only I had been born into a rich family. If only I had everything. I wished it had been sooner. I might have bought the ticket for you. We'll be watching the game tonight. I made a mistake, so you can think of me as a loser who can't get tickets to that game. You can-"
PLAAK!!!
A hard slap right on the cheek Bagas. It came from Lala who was already wearing an annoyed expression.
"Again, again, and again, you're like this, Bagas. You always prioritize others over yourself. You know, I'm very sad because you prioritized me over yourself. You don't care about yourself as if you don't deserve to be prioritized. I was so sad to know that you fought so hard for me just for the ticket for that game."
Lala couldn't contain the tears in her eyes. Her tears continued to fall right on her annoyed expression towards Bagas who was beside her. She was crying and also annoyed. Mixed feelings. The sadness inside her was released because of Bagas' attitude, which made her feel guilty for bothering him so far.
"You, Daylon... are the same. You two never think about how other people see you. You think that other people need it more than you. What is this? Are your superheroes? Does that make you look like a noble person? You guys... you have to realize that you need yourself more than anyone else. Since school, I have always been the person you prioritize the most. Do you know, I feel sad because of that. I don't want myself to be a temporary priority for myself. You still need this and that."
"Lala, I..."
"Bagas, I beg you... don't think about it anymore. Maybe we won't be able to watch that match for today. Maybe we won't be able to get tickets to that match for today. Maybe we are destined not to watch our junior today. Even so, tomorrow will come. So, there will be another day where we can watch our junior."
While saying that, Lala tried to smile with her tears stuck to her cheeks.
The two of them were eager to watch that match where their junior would be competing. They wanted to watch with pride that their junior, called the Strategic Master, was able to make it to N2 Tournament even though it was the playoffs.
"Even though we weren't there," Lala continued, "our feelings will be conveyed to her. She will know that we have supported her even though we weren't there. So take it easy, Bagas! Trust me, she will know that."
After Lala said that, suddenly a young woman who had long straight black hair, which was deliberately loose, along with a young man came up to them.
Right standing there, the young woman bent slightly and put a strand of her hair to the top of her right ear.
"Um..."
Lala, who immediately turned to look at them after hearing that, wiped her tears quickly, trying to look okay.
"Yes?"
"Sorry, I accidentally overheard your conversation. I'm sorry for that."
The young woman seemed to hear what Lala was talking about earlier. She heard that and seemed to know that Lala and Bagas were having a hard time getting tickets to the match.
"It's okay. I also apologize for being too noisy earlier," Lala responded.
"Um..."
The young woman pushed the young man's back gently. And after that, the young man extended his hand towards Lala.
"This."
When Lala was confused by that, seeing the two tickets in the young man's hand, the young woman said:
"I happen to have more tickets. I have six tickets, but my two friends can't come. So it's better for you guys."
"..."
Lala was confused, while Bagas could only stare at the young man who smiled slightly.
Then, Lala tried to refuse it, but the young man refused it.
"It's okay. This is for you only," The young man said.
"But..."
"It's all right. Take it!"
The young man forced Lala to accept the two tickets, which were tickets to the match they wanted to watch tonight.
Unable to refuse it, Lala accepted the ticket from the young man.
"T-Thank you."
"You're welcome."
The young man smiled happily because he had made others happy. After that, the young man along with his sister left there, leaving Bagas and Lala who were still bowing and thanking them.
"By the way, Livia, where is Mr. Daylon?"
"I don't know. He told me to wait for him at a nearby cafe. He wants to see someone he knows."
"Oh, I see."
Livia and Andre left from there, leaving Bagas and Lala who couldn't say a word because they were happy to be able to watch the match where their junior was playing tonight.
Halfway to the nearest cafe, Livia suddenly stopped.
"What is it, Livia?" Andre asked, looking at Livia with a confused look.
"Oh no, we left Sylvia at the mall. She's still there in the changing room."
"...Livia, you left her again."
Livia immediately ran, and Andre followed her from behind.
