On the third day of subduing the Hehuan Sect, the sect master of Molong Sect escaped, and the sect master of Haitian Sect surrendered. Two second-rate sects fell in succession, and thus the five sects and two factions ceased to exist.
In the northwestern part of Guangling Cave World, the number of second-rate sects dropped from thirty to twenty.
Of the remaining twenty second-rate sects, the top-tier Wuqi Sect controlled eight of them, and the top-tier Pure Heart Sect controlled seven. The remaining five, either located in the remote areas of the central and western parts, or still being in the protection period of their contracts, had little value to speak of.
After subduing the five sects and two factions, Qingyang Sect, with the scale of its territory and the number of its experts, was comparable to a top-tier sect. The only slight inadequacy lay in the scarcity of their peak experts. The masters of the top-tier sects usually held Fourth Rank or higher.
