Again continued Martha with a long sniffing breath.

Neither of them spoke a word as they walked to the sea, holding hands in silence.
Time together passed by too fast and they both felt the sadness of passing time and shortening distance heavy on their hearts.
"You know there's a saying among humans. You don't realise the value of something unless you part from it." Dev spoke up as they stopped near the sea.
"But we are not parting. Are we? We are just going to be out of contact for a while."
"Don't give me hope Janus, just go please."
Dev turned abruptly and walked the same way he came from.
This was not fair, life was not fair. He loved someone for the first time and had to part so early that too without knowing his whereabouts.
