Ray felt the flash of bright light in front of his closed eyelids. He struggled to move but his body weight restrained him from doing anything more than feel the freezing water striking the side of his immobile body.
"Mikesh. Mikesh, are you there?" He called, not being able to turn or move in the slightest way possible.
"I can't move man." Mikesh's voice came from a few meters afar.
"Yeah me too." Ray groaned but as hard as he tried to move, his muscles weren't cooperating with the thoughts.
"Help. Is anyone there?" He called out, squeezing his eyes shut to yell at top of his lungs.
"How did we end up here Ray?" Mikesh whined but suddenly went quiet at the faint sound of approaching footsteps.
"Someone's here." He whispered to Ray, hoping his voice was heard by his companion.
