Not a single drop of blood spilled from the wound inflicted by Ravynne, if one could even call it that. If anything, it was equivalent to that of a thorn in your foot. It was just the opening Verlian needed.
Without hesitation, Verlian lunged forward and slashed at Hyuren with the sword he had picked up from Bayer. Being that it was specially crafted to cause harm to those were stronger than humans, it was the better choice for this battle. Unlike Ravynne's dagger, this blade would draw blood and could cause a good amount of damage if the wielder was powerful enough.
