In the beginning, I always knew I was different. I didn't look like everyone else. My hair and skin were white and I was always referred to as snow. Anyways the first memory I can remember is hearing the rainfall. The rain was soft but then again it wasn't hard enough for you to be drenched in water. I remember laying down listening to the rain land on the leaves and drip on my face. After listening for a while I opened my eyes to see a man sitting against the tree. He looked at me and smiled.
Sensei-
¨You sure are a unique one arent you?¨
Winter-
¨You mean different?¨
Sensei-
¨Nope you're uniquely beautiful, I have never seen anyone quite like you.¨
Winter-
¨I can say the same thing about you, you look like the people in white but without the white clothes. How does it feel to be like everyone else?¨
Sensei-
¨I don know kid, I'm not like everyone else.¨
Winter-
¨I don understand.¨
Sensei-
¨I am an elite soldier who has done and seen things that will haunt people for the rest of their lives kid. People treat you differently when you have done and gone through those things. So just like you, I wonder how it is to be normal.¨
From then on we bonded over the fact that we are different and different people should stick together and have each other's backs. But then again I would have to fight him every day for training. He said I wouldn't be good at my studies because it would be a waste of my ability. He wanted me to fight so I can be sneaky and smart about taking down my opponent. Always be one step ahead of everyone else.
