I looked at the body of the dead King and sneered in disgust.

After the battle with the King of Greenwich, I and my men started to head back to our Kingdom; but before we did that, we went to Greenwich and removed every flag of theirs and mounted our Kingdom's own Hails. Telling the people that Hails is now there leader.
When we arrived back, we were greeted with loud cheers and praises from our people. They threw white petals at us as a sign of glory to congratulate us, some threw white handkerchiefs as a sign of our victory.
Soon we reached the palace and were also greeted with praises and songs of victory. I saw my mother and two fathers on top of the stairs ready to welcome me back. I mounted down from my horse and my mother was the first to reach me, she walked down the wide stairs then gave me a hug.
" My baby boy is back, with victory again. " She said when she hugged me.
" Mother, please I'm a grown man. " I smiled at her.
" I don't care young man, you are still and always my little baby Nicolas. " She playfully pulled my cheek.
" That is enough Ariel dear, you know very well that he had a long journey. Why don't we let him go and rest. " A man with the same eyes as me came walking towards me
" Welcome back son. " The man held my forearm and so did I.

My mother, Queen Ariel rolled her eyes then grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to my other father. The last person I ever wanted to see and to call father, King Edward my mother's husband.
Both him and I had a long history; he looked at me with those emotionless eyes and I did the same.
" Why don't you hug your son, after all he has brought victory back to our kingdom once again. " Mother smiled at him
The King smiled to mother and looked back at me. He opened his mouth to say something, but I bowed with my right hand on chest as a sign of respect.
" I would like to be excused, for the battle and journey was quite tiresome. " I said and walked away to my quarters ignoring my so-called father.
On my way to my quarters, I happen to pass by a group of young maids. They made way and bowed towards me. With my sharp senses I accidentally heard what they were saying.
" Oh my, Crown Prince Nicolas is really handsome. " One maid said.
" He sure is, look at him he is definitely sculptured by the gods. " Another said.
" I heard from his concubines that he is really amazing. " The same maid said.
" Oh how I wish to be in his bed. " Another maid moaned.
Hearing their conversation I felt like I had indeed met them before. I guess is one of the maids I got to be with anytime I want to escape my princely duties. Remembering my time with them I smirked and continued to my quarters.
