Chapter 7 - Famous Universities Are Not Guaranteed

Without asking Asih ready or not, he started. Jajaka Purwa was annoyed that he had to take off Asih's clothes himself.

But because he really wanted to, so it didn't bother him too much to happily open.

Asih's heart kept screaming, she was powerless.

The next day the big palace family had breakfast at the dining table as usual.

Only the two legal wives, Bara and Adrian plus family heads Jajaka Purwa and Asih, are now trying to adjust.

Jajaka Purwa and Asih came late, you know, newlyweds.

Bara gawked at Asih, who was currently wearing a high school uniform.

"Dad really has gone mad, don't you want to send his wife back to school?" said Bara who was sitting next to her brother--Adrian.

"You just realized? We are made of that madness, Bar," said Adrian more curtly than Bara.

In their hearts they actually feel sorry for Asih, Asih is the same age as Bara and she should have enjoyed her high school years beautifully without thinking about things outside the focus of a student.

Luckily they were born as boys who at least were not enslaved by their own people.

Poverty does take away voting rights, they both thought.

"Come sit here!" Jajaka Purwa ordered Asih.

Asih it still feels shy to look at them, her husband's two wives and two stepchildren.

Asih still can't accept her virginity being snatched away by the Landlord, who is now her husband.

People who should respect Asih, because all the services she gives to her husband is worth worship.

Everyone ate as usual, although Asih's presence became a nuisance in the atmosphere – making the four of them uncomfortable and even unappetizing.

No one wanted Asih to be there. But Monika and Kirani disguised their faces as if they were pleased with their husband's every decision because otherwise they were ready to be kicked out of the big house like a palace.

Instead of being a bum, it's better to just submit to the authorities, thought the two who now kept glancing at Asih with hatred.

In between meals, Jajaka Purwa began to take part in the conversation because it had been quiet for a long time .

No one dared to get ahead of him at every meal together like this. If the head of their household doesn't start the conversation.

All circumstances at home are always disciplined and even authoritarian. They are not like family, more precisely the servants of the noble ruler who is only called the modern Pharaoh by Asih.

Asih is like Asiah bint Muzahim who has to be patient with her husband's cruelty.

"Bara, father has taken care of your new mother's administration at your school. Take good care of him," said Jajaka Purwa, which surprised everyone, especially Bara.

'Take good care of her' the sentence stuck in Asih's heart. Even though he is evil, the modern Pharaoh always orders his son to take care of him.

Ash is silent. There's a discrepancy with her evil husband's sentence just now.

Instantly Bara and Asih stared at each other. Bara's eyes were like a broken light bulb. Almost broke from being so emotional.

"What? No, I went to the same school as him." Bara's face is bitchy. "Where do you want my face to be, Dad? I do not want." Just refused.

Her stepmother—Monika smiled with satisfaction seeing Bara's impudence, while her biological mother—Kirani glared at her son, a sign not to fight his father if he still wanted to survive.

Adrian was indifferent, he also felt it was natural for Bara to refuse. Even if Adrian was in Bara's position, he would have refused and even run away from home.

He will not be calm in studying, afraid his friends know. Luckily Adrian was in college, so he was free.

"You like to fight father huh, your rebellious son!" Jajaka Purwa was angry.

BRAKKK!

Bara pounded the table, then he immediately stood up.

"Just a shame, Dad. Anyway, Bara doesn't want to!" Just rage.

"Bara!" Kirani scolds him. "Sit down! It's polite to talk to your father."

Bara turned her face away, snorting annoyed that no one was on her side, even if it was her own sister.

Adrian just enjoys his food as if he doesn't care. But Bara is also aware that Adrian's character is indifferent because he will be involved if the problem has spread everywhere.

That's Adrian, Bara's only brother who is more like an idol statue that never expresses anything.

His face was always flat and his words always spicy, more than their mother's favorite meatballs.

"If you don't obey your father, you bear the risk, Bara," threatened Jajaka Purwa.

Bara immediately receded. His jaw stiffened at his father's threat. He knew the exact direction to his ATM card which was going to be blocked. Bara gave up, he sat back down and folded his arms.

His father smiled sadly, so easily he conquered the child.

"Kirani!" Jajaka Purwa snapped at his wife.

"Yes, my husband," replied Kirani, her heart was already in a frenzy.

Just being called his name is like the angel of death who is ready to take him to hell.

"That's why being a true mother, Bara doesn't know the ethics of her own father. How will he be in the future, in an expensive school with zero ethics. You must have lacked discipline in educating him," Jajaka Purwa slurred, making Kirani embarrassed in front of her new Asih, and it was clear that she felt inferior to Monika, who was happy to see her.

"Monika!"

"Yes, my husband," replied Monika feeling successful.

"When will Hani come home?"

"He will come home next month if there are no problems, he said, and it is certain that our child will be camlaude, dear," Monika heated up while glancing at Kirani who was annoyed to hear that.

"I'm not summa camlaude anyway, Bun. It's not that arrogant!" Adrian teased as he calmly chewed his food.

Bara, who was emotional earlier, burst into laughter because of that.

Monika really wanted to reply to Adrian with harsh words full of emotion, but there was no way she could bring out her red character in front of Jajaka Purwa. Until he still replied to Adrian gently.

"But it's different Adrian. Hani studied abroad, while at home. Different class, my son…."

"You're both in school, my beloved Mother Monik. A well-known university is not a benchmark for him to be successful, there is nothing in himself. I saw Hani on her Instagram story playing mouth-watering. A waste of money," replied Adrian also in the same gentle tone. Soft but sharper than nine.

Kirani is happy that her son Adrian cornered Monika, but she is also afraid that Adrian will be sprayed by her father, whose face is already red and looks angry.

Moreover, Adrian ignores Hani, who is very spoiled by her father.

"Stop! You guys keep checking every day, I get a headache when I hear that." Jajaka Purwa looked at Adrian. "Adrian, the right school! Don't be jealous of your own brother, let Hani enjoy his life there," he said.

Jajaka Purwa sounded in favor of Hani and it made Adrian emotional and immediately left the dining table.

"Play favor! It's normal too," said Adrian.

Bara was also stalking.

"Adrian! Bara!" called Kirani to her two children but they did not hear.

Monika is getting more and more happy to see the drama that is happening, she has confidence even though her daughter, Hani can be trusted to get her husband's power.

Jajaka Purwa took Asih to school while Bara had already left using his big motorbike so that his father wouldn't tell him to be with Asih and besides, Jajaka Purwa would not allow it.
