I stare at Pybara in shock until something clicks inside of my brain. Pybara was the one that killed Cress wasn't he? I grit my teeth angrily, creating a yellow blast in my palm, and fling it towards him.
My blast flies a few inches until it vanishes being swapped out with Pybara looking down at me throwing a kick. The kick slams into my head sending me sliding across the rocky ground. I flip up on my feet and take a deep breath as reality starts to set in.
I can't turn into fog anymore. My chances of defeating Merus are now less than one percent. My slash almost worked if Maco hadn't interfered. I take another deep breath before a gust of wind blows past me.
I glance behind me and Merus staring down at a bloody and battered Mutsu. Mutsu grits her teeth before throwing a punch. But before the punch could land. Her hand was suddenly destroyed. Mutsu eyes widened as she cried out in pain. I started to create a blast in my hand but it was too late to save Mutsu.
I watch as Mutsu's head is destroyed. I look at Merus with both of his hands covered in blood he glances back at me with a grin before his body vanishes. I spin around crossing my arms narrowly blocking a punch.
The punch propels me back into the ground. Merus raises his foot above me and is about to stomp down until several green Ki blasts fly towards him forcing him to dash back. I gingerly stand back up on my feet as Nonsuch and an Elder Appleian stand next to me.
" Looks like the tides of change in a slash. But why is Pybara working with the Galatic Patrol? " Asked Nonsuch looking at me. I just shrug my shoulders before I speak.
" It doesn't matter now. We'll just have to kill him. But I have worse news. I can't turn my body into fog anymore, they injected something into my body that nullified my fog. "
Nonsuch and the Elder look at me in surprise. Before they nod their heads at me and look forward at Merus, Maco, and Pybara standing next to each other just like us. We glared at each other until an elderly voice roared out.
" I hope you haven't forgotten about me, Merus. "
Yelled Ambrosia sending hundreds of cubes made out of stone towards the group. Merus looks over at Ambrosia until he grins. Ambrosia's eyes widen as a dark energy starts to engulf her body. Before It completely erases her body killing her.
I stare at the group in shock. That must be Maco's power. But there's nothing to think about anymore. I'll have to fight Merus. While Nonsuch and the Elder, fight Pybara and Maco.
" Looks like the end is rapidly approaching you, Sado. "
Says Merus in a cold voice. Sweat starts to run down my face. I slowly walk towards him until we both fly up into the sky spiking our energies. We lock eyes before we fly towards each other. We both throw a punch as our fists clash creating a massive shockwave.
Merus throws a jab that I slip. I counter with an uppercut but he leans back dodging it. He starts at my hand before spinning and throwing a high kick. I block the kick. The single kick bruises my arm as I grit my teeth in pain. Merus lowers his leg before flies back gaining distance away from me.
" You got it all wrong Merus. The end is approaching the both of us. "
I say to Merus with a grin on my face...
