Her legs felt like jello; she was sure if she tried to stand, she would fall over. He came back over to her; she could feel his hardness pressing into her stomach. She tried to reach down and touch him, but he stopped her.
"Pet, we don't have time for that now we are about to have company." He said, pulling her to her feet and kissing her. She heard footsteps as he pulled away. She straightened her dress just as the footsteps arrived. She looked to see her father's maid. She saw the look on her face and ran to her father's chambers, Loki and Fenrir, right behind her.
When she got there, she saw her father being put on a stretcher to be wheeled out. She walked to him, kissed him, and moved back so they could take his body. As soon as they left, her legs felt weak, and she fell, but before she hit the ground, Loki caught her. He sat and pulled her into his lap. "I'm here pet let it out." He said, stroking her hair, and she did. Julianna started crying so hard her body shook.
She cried forever then as she listened to the beat of Loki's heart. She drifted off to sleep in his lap. She awoke a few hours later in her bed with Loki cuddled with her asleep. She watched him while he slept. He was so peaceful. But why is he wasting time on me?
He could have his choice of any woman. 'I'm sure what's so special about me?' "You're staring again, pet." Loki said without opening his eyes. She blushed and laid her head back down. "What thoughts are running through that beautiful head of yours?" He asked.
She didn't answer at first, just laid there. He put his hand under her chin and tilted her head up so she was looking at him. "Answer me, pet." He said with a soft commanding voice. She hesitated, "Don't get mad, but why me? You could probably have any women you wanted why me?" She asked, tearing up.
He pulled her up and rolled over so she was under him before answering. "I want you no one else. I've felt a connection to you before I ever touched you. I feel like I belong. I've never felt like I belonged anywhere, but you make me feel wanted." He said.
She smiled and cupped his face. "I want you... I want to be with you. I'm just afraid of what Odin will do if....I tell him I don't want to marry Thor anymore." she hesently said. He nodded and kissed her. "We will figure it out together. I'd love to stay in bed with you all day, but we have things to do."
He got up, extending his hand to her. She took it stood and went to the bathroom to shower. she stopped in the doorway to the bathroom, looked at Loki, and asked, "Care to join me?" She asked playfully. Loki looked at her and smiled. he walked towards her "pet as much as I would love that I don't think I could keep my hands to myself. " He said.
Kissing her with unburdened desire. He pulled back and smiled at her. "As difficult as this decision is to take a shower, I'm gonna go oversee the preparation for your crowning ceremony." He kissed her forehead, sighed and left. She sighed and went to take a shower.
She got out and saw her ceremony dress lying on her bed. It was beautiful; it was emerald green with diamonds running in lines down the back. She dressed and went to the throne room. When she got there, she saw Loki and Fenrir at the front of the room, directing people around.
'God, he'd make a great king if given the chance.' she walked up behind him and whispered in his ear, "How does it feel to be in charge?" He smiled as he turned to her. he took a moment to look at her. "I don't know; it's not often I'm not in charge of all aspects of my day...and you look gorgeous." He then got close to her and whispered.
"That dress looks good on you, but I'd like to take it off and see what's underneath." He said in a husky voice, causing her to blush. At that moment, everyone just started to file in; it was time for the ceremony to begin. As everyone was seated, she and Loki took their place in the back of the room.
The bell started, and Loki placed Julianna's hand in the crook of his arm and started walking down the aisle. Julianna noticed that some of the people gathered were whispering and pointing. Loki looked at Julianna's face and could tell she was uncomfortable. "Relax pet, you'll do great. I am here with you." Juliana looked at him and smiled.
They got to the front, and Loki left as they were in front of the council, but he stood as close as he could. Julianna was thankful he didn't go far; it was reassuring to see him and Fenrir there for support since her dad couldn't be. She started to tear up but held it in so as not to look weak.
The crowning process was rather quick. She was glad it was. After she had her crown, she was seated on the throne. Loki stood next to her, and Fenrir stood on the other side. As people came and congratulated her; she smiled and thanked them. When everyone was done, they adjourned to the dining hall for the feast that was customary.
